Who We Are

Here at London Kinbaku we believe in promoting and upholding values which are based both on the values of a rope community, as well as other values of the BDSM/Kink communities.
The studio space allows us to learn, explore, and connect with one other safely and responsibly through the classes, workshops and experiences provided.
We strive to offer a variety of enjoyment for people of all experiences and levels while focusing on our values for a respectful studio space.
Respect & Compassion
We are providing classes and spaces to many different members of the community. We treat each other and approach every interaction in a respectful manner. We encourage socialization at our events, but in doing so we also want to ensure all conversations are free of gossip and will be mindful to ensure all parties feel heard, seen, and respected. We respect people’s bodies, privacy and comfort as they navigate through their experiences, and consent is always practised.
Our commitment: Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and compassion, regardless of their experiences or personal differences. We are committed to leading by example and holding those who are disrespectful or who bully accountable.
Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
We know society can be discriminating and unjust. We aim to have an environment where all individuals can learn and explore regardless of gender, sexuality, creed, ethnicity, background, accessibility, etc. We strive to always be a safe space where individuals can coexist respectfully. We understand that those with marginalized backgrounds may have unfair disadvantages and we wish to provide the resources and space to maximize fair outcomes.
Our commitment: We will continue to create events that are 2SLGBTQQAI+, BIPOC, ND, body inclusive, accessible spaces for all to come together and be celebrated in a safe learning environment. You are welcome here!
Safety
Safety, to us, means providing a secure environment, providing trustworthy and competent instruction and exploration, and ensuring that any individual attending our studio is protected from harm and danger. We believe that the environment in which we choose to explore should be safe to do so, as well ensuring we follow all the health and safety precautions with any rope or kink we explore. We also believe that safety isn’t just about the studio space and equipment, but also the security and privacy of our patrons. We encourage people to be greeted by the name they wish, and to be as private as they wish without any judgement or retribution. We advocate consent as this paramount to the protection of all who attend the studio.
Our commitment: We will continue to provide a safe community space where individuals can learn and explore with good safety practices from skilled instructors. The privacy and security of any individual is paramount and held at a high esteem.
These values are important to the organization and we wish that they are respected in order to sustain a responsible studio space. Anyone who is found to be disregarding our values may be asked to leave an event, or may be prohibited from attending future events. We will try to be as fair and generous as possible but any individual who is showing blatant disrespect in regards to these values will be held accountable. We reserve the right to add or change any of our values as we grow as an organization.
