Trespass and Ban Policy

TRESPASS & BANNING POLICY

London Kinbaku Studio is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in our community. We ask that all patrons do their part in making the Studio an enjoyable space for all, by following the London Kinbaku Studios Code of Conduct. This policy outlines the approach to handling situations in which a person’s disregard for appropriate conduct at London Kinbaku Studio requires action that may in some cases include the issuing of a Trespass Notice under the Ontario Trespass to Property Act. We reserve the right to prohibit entry to or dismiss anyone from an event at our discretion. This could include, but is not limited to your conduct or violation of our code of conduct or any of our policies; at past LondonRopeSocial events, current or future London Kinbaku Studio events, London Kinbaku Studio private and rental properties or other events hosted or promoted in collaboration with other promotions, in the general community or online.

This policy shall apply to all patrons and visitors of London Kinbaku Studio, at any past LondonRopeSocial events, current or future London Kinbaku Studio events; across London Kinbaku Studio private and rental properties or other events hosted or promoted in collaboration with other promotions, in the general community or online.physical and virtual locations.

When considering the duration of  banning or denying entry to an attendee London Kinbaku Studio will do its best to investigate further. London Kinbaku Studio will consider the severity of the action, the complaint or accumulative number of complaints and what danger the person poses to others, themselves; the impact intentional or not, the actions have had or will have on our venue, attendance, revenue or events. Decisions will not be made with the influence of personal beliefs, rumors, idle talk or hearsay.

London Kinbaku Studio will privately contact you to inform you there is a concern or complaint(s). This could be a friendly warning in an attempt to curve the behaviour, an immediate suspension or ban. Depending on the severity, accumulation of complaints, impact on the venue, attendance, revenue or events, safety concerns and immediate danger to yourself or others.
A ban may be issued for a minimum of 3 months and up to a life time ban.

To protect the person or persons involved we will not disclose exact information and names of the person or persons who filed the complaint(s).
Any individual that is under suspension or banned from our events and attempts to gain entry under a different name or their own will be asked to leave and be banned for a minimum of two years and/or will be charged with trespassing.

Individuals, convicted of a violent or sexual crime against any victim (person or not), will be permanently banned. Individuals, facing a criminal charge for any of the previously mentioned crimes against any victim (person or not), will be suspended until the court system finds the individual innocent or guilty. We want to make such decisions based on facts and not made with the influence of personal beliefs, rumors, idle talk or hearsay.
